Big L made a comeback from minor hits like 'Put It On' and blew people away with this 12" vinyl. Both sides are filled with his infectious flow, now more lyrically focused and spitting fire precisely. It created a real street buzz. Just as Big L was working on one of the most anticipated albums in years, he was tragically gunned down. Recorded at D&D for that intense sound, 'Ebonics' is one of the greatest songs about spitting slang. L breaks down the words you and your friends use after watching 'Boyz in the Hood'.
