The Benidub DS71 is a boutique analog synthesizer module that creates authentic dub sirens, sweeps, and FX. Inspired by classic synth - drum modules from reggae and dancehall soundsystems, it offers a unique audio experience. With a 100% analog audio oscillator, filter, and VCA, it produces fat and aggressive tones. A powerful digital LFO allows for advanced sound shaping. There are 8 different sound parameter presets that can be triggered by 4 buttons. You can shape the decay, depth, tune, sweep shape, LFO rate, and volume using individual knobs. It can be used standalone or triggered via piezo electric drum pads, analog drum machines, and sequencers. The power supply is included. This synthesizer combines analog synth voicing circuitry with a digital LFO, offering near - infinite sound palettes. The DS71 stands out with its modulation features and tone control range. Its advanced digital LFO waveforms bank has two groups: 'Bank A' for traditional siren waveforms and 'Bank B' for experimental waves. Technical specs include an analog square wave oscillator, a 12dB LPF, an analog VCA with discrete transistors, a digital LFO with two banks of 4 sound parameters each. It has a 1/4” TRS Jack output and a 1/4” TRS Jack trigger input. Dimensions are 5.1” x 5.7” x 2.4” (130 x 145 x 60mm) and it weighs 1.27 lbs (0.58 kg). Also available are other Benidub products like the DS01 Dub Siren, Lickshot Dub Siren, etc.

Using the Benidub DS71 is easy. First, make sure you connect the power supply. You can use it on its own or connect it to piezo electric drum pads, analog drum machines, or sequencers using the appropriate cables. To get different sounds, use the 4 buttons to trigger the 8 sound parameter presets. You can further customize the sound by turning the individual knobs for decay, depth, tune, sweep shape, LFO rate, and volume. For more traditional siren sounds, use 'Bank A', and for something more experimental, try 'Bank B'. When it comes to maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you need to clean it, use a soft, dry cloth. Don't try to open the device on your own as it may void the warranty and cause damage.
