Description

The Audio-Technica AT-LP70X is a great 'step up' entry-level turntable, offering a significant upgrade from the popular AT-LP60X. It's plug-and-play ready with a built-in preamp, so you can easily connect it to any AUX input. The fully-automatic operation, controlled by start and stop buttons, makes it user-friendly. It also has an auto-stop function that returns the tonearm and turns off the motor at the end of a record. It comes with an ATVM95C cartridge, which can be upgraded with any VM95 Series stylus, and a removable dust cover. The new J-shaped tonearm design offers better tracking, and the refined body adds stability. Compared to the LP60X, the LP70X has a larger 3-piece body for better vibration handling, an upgradeable VM95 Series stylus, a more detailed tonearm for improved sound, RCA outputs, a tonearm lift lever, and a tonearm lock. Key features include a belt-drive motor, playback of 33/45rpm records, an aluminum platter, a switchable built-in phono preamp, dimensions of 16' x 13' x 4.3' (400 x 330 x 110mm), and a weight of 6.4 lbs (2.9 kg). It comes with a removable dust cover, record mat, RCA cable, and 45 adaptor.

Using the Audio-Technica AT-LP70X is easy. First, connect it to your audio system using the RCA cable. If you want, you can switch off the built - in phono preamp. Place a record on the aluminum platter, use the 45 adaptor if it's a 45rpm record. Press the start button to begin playback. The tonearm will automatically move to the record and start playing. When the record ends, the auto - stop function will return the tonearm and turn off the motor. For manual cueing, use the tonearm lift lever. Make sure to lock the tonearm when not in use to prevent it from accidentally hitting the record. Keep the turntable clean by using the removable dust cover. Wipe the platter and body gently with a soft cloth. If you want to upgrade the sound, you can replace the ATVM95C cartridge with any VM95 Series stylus.
