This sentiment often shows up in my reviews and is almost a self - parody. But seriously, do you really need me to sell this record? You should already own several copies. Arular is the top dance record of the year. If you like slightly different dance music, this is the one. Tracks like 'Galang', 'Sunshowers', 'Fire Fire', and 'Bucky Done Gun' have been released on 12 - inch records, but it's great to have them all on a convenient 2LP. Along with slow - burner 'Amazon' and the tweaked electro - dancehall of 'Pull Up The People', all 12 tracks are amazing and suitable for most DJ settings. Even if the b - more sampling 'URAQT' was left off (it's supposed to be on the Japan pressing), it's not a big deal. This is a black double - vinyl pressing with a gatefold sleeve, released by XL Recordings in 2005. Reviewed by Nick Catchdubs in May 2005.
Using this M.I.A. Arular 2LP is easy. Just put it on your record player, place the needle gently on the start of the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on it. After use, store the record in its gatefold sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft record brush to gently clean it before playing.
