The sophomore studio album from Montreal's Godspeed You! Black Emperor, 'Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven', was initially recorded in February 2000. It shows the band's creative growth since their debut on Canada's Constellation Records, 'F A ¡Þ'. With five distinct movements framed by field recordings, it uses the narrative sonic collage techniques from their first record.
