John Coltrane's output for Atlantic Records has been fully remastered in mono! The albums he recorded in 1959 and 1960 are the heart of his musical legacy. This boxset features some of his most innovative hard bop and post bop works, including Giant Steps (1960), Bags & Trane (1961) with Milt Jackson, Ole Coltrane (1962), Coltrane Plays The Blues (1962), and The Avant Garde (1966) with Don Cherry. The sixth LP has outtakes, and there's also a replica of the original 7' single of 'My Favorite Things Part I & II,' a 1961 hit for Coltrane. With 33 tracks in total, it's released by Atlantic on 180 - gram vinyl in a cloth - bound box with a 32 - page booklet. To enjoy this John Coltrane vinyl boxset, first, make sure your record player is in good working condition. Carefully remove the vinyls from the cloth - bound box, holding them by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. Place the vinyl gently on the turntable and start the playback. After use, return the vinyls to their sleeves and then back to the box. Keep the box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping of the vinyls and damage to the artwork. Also, handle the 7' single replica with care as it's a special part of the collection. If you notice any dust on the vinyls, use a proper record cleaning brush before playing.
