Dilla's mother, 'Ma Dukes' Yancey, lovingly compiled it, and Pete Rock, one of Dilla's major influences, arranged and mixed it. Jay Stay Paid gathers the best DAT scraps and beat sketches from Dilla's entire career. It flows from the early 90's boom bap loops of his Ummah era to the looser, rawer Donuts - style beats. The tracks are mixed like a radio show with DJ shout - outs and Dilla's own drops. It's a must - have for Dilla fans. Highlights include 'King', 'I Told Ya'll', and more.
