Head Automatica, a Britpop and hip - hop project fronted by Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw, was born when Palumbo met Dan 'The Automator' Nakamura. Their album Decadence, released in 2004, blends Palumbo's alt - rock energy with Nakamura's beat - making skills, offering a taste of early 2000s pop. Tracks like 'Beating Heart Baby' were hits at indie - discos, while 'Please Please Please (Young Hollywood)' has a catchy chorus. 'King Caesar' starts with retro bloops, and 'Head Automatica Soundsystem' features fun funk licks. 'Brooklyn Is Burning' has a great brass riff and dance - punk style. This is the first wide release on LP. The 2011 exclusive sold for over $100. This pressing is on transparent purple with black smoke vinyl and comes with a 12x12 insert with lyrics and credits. It's a limited - edition item from Headphone Records 2019. Also available is Head Automatica: Popaganda (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 2LP.
