This is a Record Store Day exclusive! Jurassic 5 was a hip - hop group that showed amazing old - to - new skills in the 90s. Starting with their independently - released single 'Unified Rebelution' in 1994 and ending with their great debut album 'Quality Control' in 2000. They balanced between underground and mainstream hip - hop, touring with rap peers and punk rockers on the Vans Warped Tour. With two DJs and producers (Cut Chemist and DJ Nu - Mark) and four MCs (Chali 2na, Akil, Marc 7 and Zaakir aka Soup), they brought the late 70s 'unison MC' style to a new generation, even in Los Angeles where hip - hop usually leaned towards Gangsta, G - Funk or Electro. Each song on 'Quality Control' is a new adventure. This limited - edition set of 4 LPs comes in a wooden box, includes instrumentals, a 24 - page booklet, and is from the music label Get On Down 2015. Only 2000 copies are available!
