Description

The third studio album from Guns N' Roses, 'Use Your Illusion I,' was recorded between 1990 and 1991 and released alongside 'Use Your Illusion II.' These albums marked a significant shift in GnR's sound. While traces of their well - known aggressive hard rock remained, they incorporated elements of blues, classical, heavy metal, punk rock, and classic rock and roll. Drummer Steven Adler was replaced by Matt Sorum of The Cult, changing the band's rhythm. Sorum, a more straightforward drummer, replaced Adler's swing. The band experimented with longer song structures, creating epic multi - part ballads. This album features hits like 'Don't Cry,' 'November Rain,' and a cover of Paul McCartney's 'Live And Let Die.' It comes as a 180g black double vinyl pressing, remastered from original analog stereo tapes, and is housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed insert. Originally released in 1991, it's re - issued by Geffen in 2022. Also available is Guns N' Roses: Use Your Illusion II - 180g Vinyl 2LP.

To use this vinyl album, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable platter, aligning it properly. Lower the tonearm carefully onto the lead - in groove of the record. Enjoy the music! When handling the vinyl, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, as this can cause pops and clicks during playback. After each use, return the vinyl to its protective sleeve to prevent scratches and dust accumulation. Store the album in a cool, dry place, and keep it upright to avoid warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a soft, anti - static record brush to gently clean the grooves. For more stubborn dirt, you can use a specialized vinyl cleaning solution following the product's instructions.
