Description

The debut studio album from Minneapolis' Golden Smog, 'Down By The Old Mainstream,' was originally released in 1995. It offers a loose country - rock sound full of grit and fire. The band formed as a response to Minneapolis' hardcore punk scene, with a rotating group of musicians from well - known bands like Wilco, Soul Asylum, The Replacements, The Jayhawks, Run Westy Run, Big Star, and the Honeydogs. The album includes tracks like 'Radio King,' 'Glad & Sorry,' and 'Pecan Pie,' with a total of fourteen songs. It's released by Run Out Groove on double 180 - gram colored vinyl. The vinyl comes in an individually numbered tip - on gatefold aqueous gloss Stoughton jacket with printed inner sleeves. It's the first repress since 2010 when it was first issued on vinyl, and it features Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Dan Murphy of Soul Asylum, and Gary Louris of the Jayhawks. Music label: Run Out Groove 2018.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently lower the needle onto the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on it. To store it, keep it in an upright position to prevent warping. Also, don't expose it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as this can damage the vinyl. If you notice any dust on the record, use a soft, anti - static brush to clean it. When not in use, keep the vinyl in its provided Stoughton jacket to protect it from scratches and dirt. And since it's an individually numbered limited - edition pressing, take extra care to preserve its value.
