New Miserable Experience is the breakthrough album by Gin Blossoms, released on August 4, 1992. Initially, it got little attention, but almost a year later, the lead single 'Hey Jealousy' hit the top 40, followed by 'Found Out About You' a few months later. This album eventually achieved multi-platinum status. During the recording, guitarist Doug Hopkins was fired due to alcohol issues, and his replacement Scott Johnson didn't play on the album. Sadly, Hopkins committed suicide as the album was becoming successful in late 1993. This is the 25th anniversary edition, an indie exclusive and limited edition. It comes on red & 'rust' marble colored vinyl (note: actual color and packaging may vary from the mock-up). Originally released in 1992, it's from A&M Records 2025. Pre-order now!
