Florian Kupfer: Lifetrax Vinyl 12

Germany's Florian Kupfer's debut 12-inch vinyl, Lifetrax, is seeing its third pressing! L.I.E.S. has been successful in recent years, and Lifetrax is one of the label's key releases. The title track is filled with the label's trademark hazy noise and starts with gentle Rhodes chords. Its electro beat gradually builds, creating movement in the sparse arrangement. The second version reduces Rhodes noodling, allowing for more sustained builds. 'Feelin' begins with more noise and becomes a moody floor - filler. There's a 'Dubb Micx' for those who find the vocals out of place. It has the same elements but with a darker, more sinister Twin Peaks vibe, punctuated by analog synth stabs and compressed drums.
