In 1994, Pacific Northwest indie label Slo - Mo Records got Elliott Smith (from Heatmiser) and Pete Krebs (from Hazel) to do a split 7 - inch record. These Portland - based singer - songwriters and guitarists recorded lovely, simple acoustic tunes. Seattle's Suicide Squeeze Records is reissuing this lost classic for its 20th anniversary. 'No Confidence Man' is a soft song full of vivid imagery, and 'Shytown' is a guitar - led track with somber parts and big melodies that Krebs became known for. This is a super limited edition of only 500 copies on orange vinyl. It has new artwork and comes with a download coupon.
