Get ready for a mysterious electro - funk gem! Dr. Mary Sullivan Bain, a Miami - Dade public school teacher, noticed kids' lack of knowledge about black history. So, she used music to spotlight the community's achievements. 'Do You Know Black History' was recorded at Miami Sound Recordings and sparingly distributed in Miami's public schools. In 1985, an original copy was only likely to be found in a school library. This record is a unique blend of 808s, bass synths, deep chords, live percussion, and effects, creating a smooth - grooving proto - electro burner. The flip side is instrumental. It's from Backatcha Records 2017 and highly recommended by Michu Meszaros in 02/2018.

Using this vinyl is simple. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the record, and enjoy the unique electro - funk sound. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on it, as this can affect the sound quality. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. Also, be careful not to scratch the surface when taking it in and out of the sleeve. That way, you can keep enjoying this rare musical treasure for a long time.
