Dam-Funk: Architecture Vinyl 12

Dam-Funk is on an uptempo house track! We've been eager for more music like “Galactic Fun,” and we're thrilled to get three such tracks on one record. Initially hard to find in the US (it wasn't in any record stores I visited), thanks to Saft Musik from the Canary Islands, it's now available. The A-side “Break Out” is late-night cyborg theme music, similar to some American Intelligence - era Theo with fast hihats and a gruff bassline. Side B takes you to balearic territory with “Hazy Stomp” featuring tropical percussion, and “Your House” has a dreamy atmosphere with a sparse drum kit, as dreamy as anything from the Garrett LP. Both sides play at 45 RPM. Dam-Funk just released Architecture II, so grab that one too. This is a black vinyl pressing from the Saft label in 2017. Highly recommended.
