Right from the opening notes of the lead single 'Break - Thru', the change is evident. It's an imaginative, hopeful record that truly feels like Dirty Projectors. Longstreth is mostly in charge of production again, and the band has been rebuilt with Maia Friedman, Felicia Douglass, Kristin Slipp, Nat Baldwin, and Mike Daniel Johnson. They also collaborate with great artists like Amber Mark on 'I Feel Energy' and Syd on 'Right Now', creating an out - of - the - box pop and rock experience full of pleasant surprises.
