Using the Denon DP-450USB Turntable is easy. First, connect the detachable RCA cable and power cord. You can use the switchable plugs on the power cord to fit your region. Place a record on the cast aluminum platter with the rubber record mat. Adjust the tonearm using the anti-skate control and tonearm lift lever. Select the playback speed (33, 45, or 78 rpm) with the knob. If you want to record, connect a USB flash drive to the front USB output. Press the MP3 or WAV button to start recording. For MP3 editing on Windows, use the included MusiCut Software; for Mac, download Audacity. The Auto-Stop function will lift the tonearm and turn off the motor at the end of the record, but you can turn it off if you don't want this feature.
