The LA duo Crushed has signed with Ghostly International and released the first vinyl pressing of their 2023 debut EP, Extra Life. It's a love letter to '90s radio, fusing Britpop, trip - hop, and electronica. Musicians Bre Morell and Shaun Durkan blend their love for maximalist dream pop. Open - hearted hooks and riffs flow through breakbeats, sound design, and distortion. This sound, reminiscent of golden - age alt - rock, quickly won fans and critics.
