Description

The album that catapulted Corrosion Of Conformity into the mainstream! Once a North - Carolina band formed in 1982, C.O.C. was not always metal legends. Before releasing 'Blind' in 1991, they recorded two albums with a hardcore punk style. In their first decade, they shifted to a thrash metal sound. After lineup changes, including adding vocalist Karl Agell, bassist Phil Swisher, and guitarist Pepper Keenan, they adopted a straightforward heavy - metal sound. This blend of new sound and punk ethos created one of the decade's most important metal albums. The lyrics deal with political themes, and the music is full of aggression. Standout tracks are 'Damned for All Time', 'Mine Are the Eyes of God', 'Dance of the Dead', and 'Echoes in the Well'. This is the first North - American vinyl release. It's a 180 - gram double purple vinyl with three bonus tracks from the 1995 Columbia Records re - release. It also comes with a color lyric insert and liner notes by acclaimed journalist Chris Dick. Music labels are Relativity (1991) and Prosthetic Records (2014). Reviewed by Le Haim in 03/2015.

Using this vinyl album is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle onto the record, and enjoy the great music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt on the record, which could affect the sound quality. To store it, keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. If you're not using it for a while, it's a good idea to keep it in its sleeve to protect it from scratches. Every once in a while, you can use a record cleaning brush to clean the surface of the vinyl for the best listening experience.
