On LIFE WITHOUT SOUND, the fourth album from Cleveland-based indie rockers Cloud Nothings, Dylan Baldi and his band abandon the lo-fi sound of their previous records for a cleaner, more polished style. Their last collaboration was with L.A. stoner Wavves on 2015's No Life For Me. On 'Strange Year', they play with the noisy style of No Life, but mostly stick to straightforward power pop and indie rock, offering more smart hooks and catchy riffs, showing real growth as a band. Released by Carpark Records (home to Toro Y Moi, Beach House, Memory Tapes), this indie-exclusive version comes on cool green marble vinyl. It also includes a digital download.
