This full - length album, recorded between 1991 and 1993, is finally fully available after all these years. Peanut Butter Wolf and Stones Throw have been gradually releasing parts of this material over the past five years. It started with the single 'Methods,' a heavenly smooth track. Then came the captivating 'Devotion,' followed by 'Here's A Smirk,' 'Jack The Mack,' and a few others. Even without considering the rest, this album is a must - have. In my view, the unreleased tracks outshine the recently released singles. I really love PB Wolf's production when it hits the right emotional chord. The second half of the album offers at least 4 new great tracks. Check out the inside - joke track 'Ice Cream Truck' and the sweet guitar loops on 'Soon To Be Large.' Charizma may not say much on the mic, but he can handle the beat well, and his passive - aggressive delivery pairs nicely with Peanut Butter Wolf's style. In the end, Big Shots feels like a raw display of youthful ambition. It has 15 tracks in total and comes as a black double vinyl pressing under the Stones Throw label in 2003. To use this vinyl album, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the vinyl gently on the turntable and use the tonearm to carefully lower it onto the record. Adjust the volume according to your preference. When you're done listening, lift the tonearm gently and turn off the record player. As for maintenance, always handle the vinyl by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Keep it in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust. Store it vertically in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove the dust.
