Description

Reward is the latest album from Cate Le Bon, a Welsh musician and producer known for her understated left - field pop. In 2007, she gained early recognition as a supporting act for Super Furry Animals. Her musical journey includes the folky debut Me Oh My in 2009, the prog - pop of CYRK in 2012, and the minimal Mug Museum in 2013, produced by Noah Georgeson. She's also part of DRINKS and guest - voiced on Kevin Morby's debut. Reward features a familiar backing band from 2016's Crab Day, but the songwriting is more personal. Le Bon plays various instruments as needed. Tracks like “Daylight Matters” with synth bass and soaring vocals, and “Home To You” with shakers and western guitar, showcase her unique style. The album ends with the sombre “Meet The Man”. This limited - edition LP is pressed on opaque red vinyl, comes in a gatefold sleeve with a printed inner, and includes a digital download. It's released by Mexican Summer in 2019 and was reviewed by CERAMIC CISTERN in June 2019.

To enjoy this Cate Le Bon's Reward vinyl LP, first, carefully take the record out of the gatefold sleeve. Place it gently on your turntable. Make sure your turntable is set up properly and the needle is in good condition. Then, start playing the record and let the unique sounds of Cate Le Bon fill your space. When you're done listening, lift the needle gently and return it to its rest. Put the record back into the sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep the LP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Don't touch the surface of the vinyl with dirty hands as it can affect the sound quality. And if you want to access the digital download, follow the instructions that come with the album.
