This is a deluxe 180-gram repress of The Boss' only double album, The River, originally released in 1980. Produced by Jon Landau and bandmate Steven Van Zandt, it was Springsteen's first album to hit #1 on the charts. The 2015 pressing offers newly remastered sound from the original source tapes. It comes as a double 180-gram audiophile pressing, newly remastered for vinyl from the original tapes, and is packaged in a faithful recreation of the original LP sleeve.
