Description

In the late 1970s, France's dystopian reality gave birth to a creative and bold spirit. Artists like Lizzy Mercier Descloux and Henriette Coulouvrat explored the limits of post punk, experimenting with emerging technologies. These new technologies brought a vision of a utopian future, free from the cold - war disillusionment and France's poor economic situation. The music created then remains as impactful today. As new and cold wave sounds still resonate, it's essential to explore the originators of these genres. This limited - edition LP (only 500 copies) comes with a fold - out color poster featuring band info and unreleased photos. Music Label: Born Bad Records 2008. Reviewed by The Voice 05/2012.

To enjoy this LP, simply place it on a turntable. Make sure the turntable is clean and in good working condition. When handling the LP, hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Don't stack too many records on top of it to prevent warping. The fold - out poster is a great collectible, so handle it gently. You can display it on your wall or keep it flat in a protective sleeve. Enjoy the unique sounds of French post punk and cold wave music!
