Future Times has been a powerhouse in the US dance - music scene for the past 5 years. Under the leadership of Andrew Field - Pickering (a.k.a. Maxmillion Dunbar), the label has been releasing super - funky tracks that blend nostalgia with a forward - looking vision. Beautiful Swimmers, a collaboration between Field - Pickering and Ari Goldman, have been a key part of this unique sound, dropping some of the label's best 12 - inch records. 'Son' features two standout cuts: the boogie - filled 'Swimmers Groove', a gem that combines the best of those overlooked records, and the new wave 'Big Coast' which wraps up the album perfectly. There's more great music in between, like the sleazy 'Easy On The Eyes' and the energetic 'Cool 'Disco' Dan', which references a DC - area writer from the disco era. With 'Gettysburg', the Swimmers offer a relaxing end while hinting at their sources of inspiration. Due to pressing issues, 'Son' is finally here. Don't miss out on this album. To enjoy this album, simply insert the 2LP into your record player and let the music play. It's great for parties, relaxing at home, or just when you want to unwind. Keep the vinyl away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping. When handling the records, hold them by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, put the records back in their sleeves to protect them from dust. If you notice any dust on the records, use a record brush to gently clean them before playing.
