Soul and funk fans may know Williams from his 80s Capitol records, but this 45 - single holds a special surprise: two sides of powerful, funky soul, originally tape - recorded demos. Beau submitted these tracks to Lionel Whitfield's Whit Label long ago. They resurfaced in 2011 when David Haffner and Brian Sears of Magnetic Recordings found them in TSU jazz director Howard Harris' tape archive. 'I'll Be Home Soon' and 'Outside Love' are filled with raw emotion in Beau's vocals and funky drumming. Only 500 hand - stamped copies are available. Highly recommended!
