This is an amazing instrumental album from the Beasties. I've been a huge fan since my childhood, jamming to their raps. Now, I'm just as into the beats! It focuses on a return to live - instrument music with a great blend of fresh original tracks. The sound continues the vibe of the In Sound From Way Out! album, full of funky and smooth breaks, perfect for summer fun and relaxation. Check out tracks like the up - tempo '14th St. Break', the funky bass in 'The Electric Worm', 'Melee', the rock/funk 'The Cousin Of Death', and 'Kangaroo Rat'. While it's not as typical 'Beastie' as their hip - hop prime, they've evolved. The album has great Monty Python style cover art, 12 tracks, and runs for 45 minutes. Music label: Capitol 2007.
