It's high time Jive rereleased this super - official Tribe compilation. You've spotted them on numerous Classic Re - Edits, mixtapes, and bootleg anthologies. But here, they're straight from the source and beautifully pressed. This record features all your favorite ATCQ jams like 'Scenario', 'Electric Relaxation', 'Bonita AppleBaum', and 'Jazz (We've Got)'. When you play these at gigs, everyone starts spitting ATCQ lines. That's the real charm of this record. It's the kind of familiar music you're proud to play because the tracks are outstanding. Even within the warehouse, when everything gets tiring, Tribe always soothes our souls. The chemistry between Tip's smooth lines, Fife's witty comic relief, and Ali Shaheed's great production makes it timeless. Don't miss the 'rarities' either. 'Mr. Icognito' was a long - sought - after track I searched for in college. I first heard it on a friend's mixtape and was hooked. It took me years to find it on a bootleg comp, but it's cleaner here. 'The Night He Got Caught' is another hidden gem I've never seen before.
