Forget the speculations! Kala is another killer album from M.I.A. With production powerhouses like Switch, Diplo, Blaqstarr, and Timbaland, a sophomore slump was out of the question. London's Switch, a top dance producer and half of Major Lazer, blends his style with M.I.A.'s diverse influences, creating truly unique 'pop' music. Tracks like 'Jimmy' with its Bolly - disco sound, 'Bird Flu', and lead single 'Boyz' are full of surprises. M.I.A. even throws in some classic lyrics from the Modern Lovers and Pixies. Switch's production dominates the album, but Maya's exploration also yields gems. 'Mango Pickle Down River' is a remix of Wilcannia Mob's 'Down River', and it's amazing. Blaqstarr adds his spooky touch to 'The Turn', and the M.I.A. / Switch / Diplo trio rocks on 'XR2'. Timbaland's collab 'Come Around' is a hot track. This 12 - track, 47 - minute album is a must - have. It comes as a black double vinyl pressing with printed inner sleeves, and is from XL Recordings 2007. Reviewed by Chris Lemon - Red.

To enjoy this M.I.A. vinyl album, simply place it on your turntable and start the playback. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition for the best sound quality. When handling the vinyl, hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, store the vinyl back in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This will help preserve the vinyl and the printed inner sleeves for a long time. Don't forget to check your turntable's needle regularly and replace it if it shows signs of wear.
