Description

Described as 'Incredibly organic, despite its programmed origins.' Despite the rising popularity of Japanese ambient music, Masahiro Sugaya is still relatively unknown in the West. In the early 80s, he met Satoshi Ashikawa and Yoshio Ojiima and developed a passion for using the latest computer and synthesizer technologies in composition. His early works are highly nuanced and organic, offering natural - sounding environmental music created entirely digitally. These pieces have been used in films, art performances, and installations. Now, Empire Of Signs has compiled this collection on vinyl for the first time. Dive into the peaceful sounds of 'Future Green', the relaxing 'Wind Conversation', or the synthetic oasis of 'Until The End Of The World'. Ideal for fans of Hiroshi Yoshimura, Midori Takada, or Satoshi Ashikawa. Features include an indie - exclusive clear with green colored vinyl pressing, the first ever vinyl release, remastered from original tapes with the artist's cooperation, liner notes in Japanese and English, an obi strip, and is released by Empire of Signs in 2019.

To use this vinyl LP, simply place it on a working turntable. Make sure the turntable is clean and the stylus is in good condition. When playing, handle the vinyl gently to avoid scratches. After use, store the vinyl in its protective sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Don't stack heavy objects on it. This vinyl has liner notes in Japanese and English, so you can read about the music and the artist while enjoying the album. It's a great addition to any music collection, especially for fans of Japanese ambient music.
