The original house music anthem, 'Move Your Body' by Marshall Jefferson, is now available on 45 - rpm vinyl from Get On Down. This track is a key one that took house music beyond Chicago. Initially, Trax label boss Larry Sherman disliked it and didn't want to press it. But after Marshall gave limited cassette copies to Chicago DJ legends Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles, it created a buzz and reached places like London and Ibiza. Eventually, it became Trax's first global hit and earned the title of 'the house music anthem'. It's part of Get On Down's Jukebox Series 2, released by Get On Down in 2018.
