The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory is Tupac Shakur's sixth studio album. Released under his stage - name Makaveli posthumously, it was crafted in just seven days in August 1996. Lyrics were written and recorded in three days and mixing took four more. These are some of the last songs Tupac recorded before his tragic shooting on September 7, 1996. Originally set for a March 1997 release, it came out four months early due to his death. Former Death Row publicity head George 'Papa G' Pryce said it was initially meant to be underground. This cryptic 1996 album comes as a black double - vinyl pressing. Originally released in 1996, it's now on the Interscope label in 2022.
