Laufey, a talented Los Angeles-based singer, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, offers jazz songs about young love and self-discovery. This Icelandic-Chinese artist, raised between Reykjavik, Washington, D.C., and having annual visits to Beijing, grew up playing cello and piano. After exploring her father's record collection, she fell in love with Ella Fitzgerald's jazz standards. 'Typical of Me' is her debut EP with the hit single 'Street by Street'. It comes in a black vinyl pressing with a printed insert. Originally released in 2021, it's under the AWAL Recordings label in 2024.
