In the annals of vinyl history, Stones Throw was among the first independent labels to regularly release limited - distribution records. It wasn't just about colored vinyl then; they focused on unique EPs and fan - club 45s. Egon or Jamie Strong would personally email about new titles. The Madvillain Remixes initially came in two versions: this one by Four Tet and another by Koushik. Over time, the Four Tet remix has gained popularity, maybe due to internet memes. This new pressing comes with a cool Jank'd pixelated artwork sleeve and instrumental versions on the flip side. It features selected tracks from the Madvillainy LP remixed by Four Tet (except 'Rhinestone Cowboy' remixed by Four Tet + MF DOOM). It's a black vinyl pressing, a limited full - color picture sleeve edition. Originally released in 2005, it's re - issued by Stones Throw in 2017. Reviewed by the mgmnt in 12/2017.

Using this vinyl is easy. Just place it on your turntable and use the tonearm to drop the needle on the desired groove. To play the other side, lift the tonearm gently, flip the vinyl over, and repeat the process. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oils on the surface. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust from the grooves. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can damage the vinyl.
