This album is a hidden gem that will gradually win you over. The sound has a funky reggae vibe, thanks to Harry Mudie's excellent arrangement and production. With King Tubby at the controls, it retains a raw and chunky feel. You'll never hear anything quite like it, satisfying your craving for funk breaks and raw dub simultaneously, as heard in 'Heavy Duty Dub'. The whole record flows seamlessly with outstanding instrumentation throughout. I'm not sure who's playing bass, but it's out of this world. 'Caught You Dubbing' features sweet horns that'll make you want to cook eggs on a lazy Sunday. 'Roman Dub' has some great hard drums, and Tubby gives the bass an amazing dub treatment. It's a black vinyl pressing, originally released in 1976 and re - issued by Survival Research in 2023. Reviewed by the mgmnt in 08/2005.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable and set the tonearm on the record. You can sit back and relax while the amazing music plays. When you're done, lift the tonearm carefully and remove the vinyl. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers to keep it clean. If it gets dirty, use a proper vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris.
