This is the record where the band first played together, with that intuitive in - the - pocket feeling. They were doing lots of shows, jamming and improvising live. The track 'Head On/Pill' emerged from nowhere and grew like pond scum. They quickly recorded it with Paul Maybury. Eric returned to the drum kit, adding more power. The rest of the album was home - recorded in Aussie places like Darraweit Guim, Deniliquin and Anglesea. It was an attempt at a psychedelic record, with experiments in synthesizers, sitar and odd time signatures. This is the Australian psych band's third studio album. It comes on blue, black & white 'Venusian sky' swirl colored vinyl, first on vinyl since 2018. It has a printed inner sleeve and an eco - friendly brown paper outer wrapper. It's a limited edition from 2013, released by KGLW in 2022. Hope you enjoy these loosely associated tunes!
