Description

Now that Outkast's era has ended, we turn to the younger generation for honest rap. Leading this charge is Kendrick Lamar from Compton. After gaining huge attention with last year's 'Section 80', Kendrick's major - label debut 'Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City' is a masterpiece. It draws inspiration from the early 2000s Southern Rap takeover but shines with amazing storytelling that rivals the best. Album highlights include 'Money Trees', which samples Beach House and brings soul like Outkast's 'Elevators'. 'M.A.A.D. City' will thrill trap fans with its bouncy beat, and 'Real' featuring Anna from Sonnymoon is a soulful mid - tempo track reminiscent of Erykah Badu at her peak. Kendrick bridges the gap between young rap fans and old - school Hip Hop lovers. This 10th anniversary edition features the original CD cover art on vinyl for the first time. It's a milky clear colored double - vinyl pressing, an indie exclusive, housed in a gatefold sleeve, and is a limited edition. Originally released in 2012, it's now re - issued by Top Dawg Entertainment in 2022. Highly recommended!

Using this vinyl record is easy. First, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable platter, and use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the record's grooves. You can then sit back and enjoy the music. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches on the playing surface. After each use, put the record back in its sleeve to protect it from dust and debris. Store the record in a cool, dry place, standing upright on a shelf to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. For stubborn dirt, a record cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth can be used, but be very gentle to avoid damaging the grooves.
