Jonwayne: Cassette On Vinyl (180g) Vinyl LP

This is a vinyl compilation featuring tracks from Jonwayne's first - released tapes: Cassette, Cassette 2, and Cassette 3. Although Jonwayne started as a producer, his excellent rapping skills got him signed by Stones Throw. While working on his debut LP, Rap Album One, this LA - based artist released a series of tapes due to his high productivity. The first tape, simply named Cassette, even caught the eye of tobacco giant Phillip Morris, who sent a cease - and - desist notice because it resembled a pack of Marlboros. With Cassette out of print and the stock of Cassette 2 and Cassette 3 running low, Stones Throw collaborated with Jon to select his favorite tracks from the series for this vinyl release. Check out 'Cool Runnings' featuring Zeroh, 'Altitude' produced by Mndsgn, and the menacing closer 'Blaq Prussian' with Jeremiah Jae and Oliver the 2nd.
