As the JB's were evolving, getting freer and more electronic, they created some strange yet amazing sounds, like in 'Blow Your Head' which starts with the iconic Moog buzzing from 'Public Enemy No. 1'. 'Same Beat' is a strong two - part track with spacey organ and classic JB chants. There are also great skits and interludes, like the band trying to get Hank Ballard on board, which sounds like ODB's grandfather. It was recorded during the same session as James Brown's 'The Payback'. This black vinyl is housed in a Stoughton tip - on jacket. Originally released in 1974, it's re - issued by Get On Down in 2024.
