This indie rock duo from California, Jonathan Rado and Sam France, have faced typical 'rock band' problems like on - stage meltdowns and breakups. However, their music has always been top - notch. Hang is their first proper studio LP. Arranged by Trey Pollard from Spacebomb and Matthew E. White, this 8 - track album is one of Foxygen's best works. Entirely written and produced by the group, it features Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips and the D'Addario brothers of the Lemon Twigs. Each track has a 40 - plus - piece orchestra backing, and the songs were recorded and mixed on 2' tape. This limited - edition green vinyl was cut directly from the master tapes.
