D'Marc Cantu: Car Type EP Vinyl 12

Ann Arbor's D'Marc Cantu has been on a roll with releases in recent years. He's dropped great tracks on labels like DJ TLR's Crème Organization, Aroy Dee's M>O>S Recordings, and Sequencias. His recent Car Type EP on Tom Dicicco's Run Out Run is top - notch. It starts with the fast - paced 'Track Pattern'. 'Spotlight' in filter house style takes you to a higher level, followed by the gritty techno of the title track that hits hard, like Liaisons Dangereuses on a dark acid trip. 'Iridescent Life' ends the EP with deep, dub - inflected techno. This is an excellent release, and there's word of another one in the works for the label. Music label: Run Out Run 2015.
