Original Lab review: This album is proof that Del has been unique from the start, just check the cover. Ice Cube's cousin approached music differently, collaborating on beats with Cube and others while handling all vocals solo. The singles 'Mista Dobalina' and 'Dr Bombay' did well but labeled Del as a lightweight. However, this album is a hidden gem. Straight sampling is at its peak, Del's flow is on - point, and his lyrics make sense as he hasn't over - indulged. Tracks like 'Ahone Two Ahone Two' are great. It's a solid listen, maybe better than 'No Need For Alarm'. Songs about real - life situations like bummy friends on your couch are relatable. It has 14 tracks including 'Pissin On Your Steps', 'Sunny Meadowz', etc. Features a 'day - glo washed' colored double vinyl pressing, a large foldout poster, and an obi strip. Individually numbered with only 1000 copies available. Originally released in 1991, re - issued by Get On Down in 2024. Reviewed by the mgmnt in 05/2005.
