Description

Black Marble's sophomore studio album, 'It's Immaterial,' showcases the band in a transitional phase. Originally a Brooklyn - based duo of Chris Stewart and Ty Kube, it's now a solo project by Stewart on the West Coast. The album features the hazy 80s EBM sound of their earlier works, but Stewart has moved his vocals forward for a great impact. The lo - fi drum machines and Peter Hook - inspired basslines are more distinct, though a bit of mystery remains. Drawing on Joy Division and New Order, Stewart's disembodied vocals set Black Marble apart. Tracks like 'Woods', 'Iron Lung', and 'Frisk' are full of hooks. With eleven tracks in total, it's released by Ghostly International in 2016 on black vinyl in a full - color sleeve.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your record player, gently drop the needle on the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on it. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Don't stack heavy items on top of it. After each use, you can use a soft brush to clean the surface of the vinyl to keep it in good condition. And remember, it's best to use a high - quality record player to get the best sound.
