Description

Get ready for a blast from the past! This limited repress from Germany's Mojuba label brings back Chicago house rarities. Bernard Badie, a legend from the early 90s, is behind some of the greatest Chicago house tracks. The original 'Bernards Got The Funk 12'' was released in 1988 on his DJB label. It's a perfect example of raw Chicago house that still sounds amazing today, especially with the current retro house trend. 'My First Love' features moving chords and deep strings, while 'Come To Me' takes you deeper underground with raw vocals and emotive synth work. Fans of Mr. Fingers, Frankie Knuckles, or Virgo Four will love this. Housed in a stamped paper sleeve. Music label: Mojuba 2012. Reviewed by TKB 02/2013.

To enjoy this vinyl record, you'll need a turntable. Simply place the record gently on the turntable platter, set the tonearm on the edge of the record, and let the music play. When you're done, carefully lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Store the record in a cool, dry place to prevent warping. Avoid touching the grooves with your fingers as it can leave dirt and oils that may affect the sound quality. If the record gets dirty, use a record cleaning brush to gently remove any dust. Enjoy the classic Chicago house vibes this record has to offer!
