In 1980, Les Rallizes Dénudés added guitarist Fujio Yamaguchi. The unique combination of frontman Mizutani and Fujio's bluesy style brought a new era to the band, exciting fans. This special lineup lasted less than a year but left a huge mark on Rallizes fans. Among their seven gigs, the show on October 29, 1980, at the Yaneura live house in Shibuya was outstanding. 'YaneUra Oct. ‘80' captures this amazing performance, long - awaited and now officially released for the first time. Mixed and mastered by Rallizes member Makoto Kubota from the best sources. The twin guitars of Mizutani and Fujio, along with the rhythm section of bassist Doronco and drummer Kodo Noma, created a powerful and intense sound. The 30 - plus - minute medley of 'I'm the Darkness' into 'Flame of Ice' is a highlight of the Rallizes' career. This is the first official vinyl of the cult Japanese experimental band's 1980 Shibuya live recording. It's a black double - vinyl, remastered from original analog tapes. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with an obi strip, it comes with a printed insert and liner notes by Shinya Matsuyama. Limited to 500 copies, and the music label is Temporal Drift 2024.
