Description

Recorded on June 24, 1958, at the Van Gelder Studio in Hackensack, NJ, this rare album features original compositions by Wilburn Harden and Curtis Fuller. The 32 - year - old John Coltrane was transitioning from hard bop to his legendary style. You can hear his style evolving, a year after he recorded Blue Trane. It's not to be confused with Africa / Brass (1961). This black vinyl pressing is a limited edition of 500, featuring Wilburn Harden on trumpet, Curtis Fuller on trombone, Tommy Flanagan or Howard Williams on piano, Ali Jackson on bass, and Arthur Taylor on drums. The music is released by Wax Love in 2020.

To use this John Coltrane vinyl LP, simply place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the record, and enjoy the amazing jazz music. When handling the record, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oil on it. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, standing it upright in a record sleeve to prevent warping. Be careful not to scratch the surface while removing or putting it back in the sleeve. And remember, this is a limited - edition item, so handle it with extra care to keep it in good condition for a long time.
