This is a crucial reissue of 7 outstanding tracks from Kruder & Dorfmeister's 1996 DJ-Kicks mix CD for Studio !K7. As the 4th entry in the series, the Austrian duo's mix captures the essence of 1996, combining jazzy drum & bass with their unique trip-hop and “slo-beat” style. It features hard-to-find LTJ Bukem-style rollers from Omni Trio, JMJ & Flytronix, and Tango, along with slower cuts by Thievery Corporation, Hardfloor, and more. (Note: track A2 is Omni Trio - “Trippin' On Broken Beats”; it's mislisted on the back cover as Aquasky - “Kauna”). The set includes 7 unmixed, DJ-friendly full-length selections, comes in a black double vinyl pressing, was originally released in 1996, and is from the Studio !K7 label in 2016.
