Get ready for some heavy - hitting ambient down - tempo music from Ghostly! KILN has been in the music scene since the 90s, and their expertise shines on 'meadow:watt'. Kevin Hayes, Kirk Marrison, and Clark Rehberg III create warm and textured atmospheres. The rhythms are slow and sparse, yet full of details. The tracks feel very live, like they're taken from hours of live jams on tape. Dub influences are strong, with melodies getting a nice dose of delay. Sounds come from guitars, drums, keys, and field sampling, but it's the trio's processing that defines KILN's sound.
