ESPRIT, an imaginative project started in 2012 by electronic pop artist George Clanton, has made a significant mark in the vaporwave genre. The first two EPs, Girls Only and Summer Night, are must - listens for vaporwave newbies. In 2014, ESPRIT released the Virtua.zip LP, all original, setting a trend that the vaporwave scene followed. After a hiatus, ESPRIT came back in 2017 with 200% Electronica, a blend of classic vaporwave compositions and chopped & screwed samples from George Clanton's songs, inspired by touring with a Roland SP 404 - SX. This is an 'orange flame' splatter colored vinyl, a limited edition of 500, under the music label 100% Electronica 2020.
